For those of you wanting to keep up with what I’m doing, check out my second blog. It’s currently for a class I’m taking at Rowan University, but I intend on revamping it after class and making personal posts and thoughts. Let me know what you think!

Farewell…for now
I had an awesome time learning about haunted buildings in my area! I plan on posting more in the future when I find the time to travel to spooky places. I hope to post more about horror as well, so keep up with my blog if that interests you!
During the past few months I learned a lot about the history of some really cool buildings. Even the architecture says a lot about its history. I enjoyed getting out and traveling the area. I have always wanted to explore some local places but never found the time or reason. This blog helped me to keep my readers updated and hopefully intrigued.
I would have liked to speak to more people or gotten more in-depth with some of the people I spoke with. I understood that timeliness was the biggest issue, but I’m glad I got to do most of the things I planned.
Reminiscing on some of my favorite posts:
The grim history of America’s most haunted prison
The Jewel of the Jersey Shore
Stepping Into the Paranormal World With Joanne and Pat
Edgar Allan Poe haunts Philadelphia with his most successful short stories
Krampus scares children to behave by roaming streets in Austria
There is so much more to explore in my area, I don’t think I’ll ever want to stop!
Michael Thomas-Knight: It’s All About Horror

“…He dreamed violent nightmares of blood and guts, where he had slain numerous screaming goats with a razor sharp buck knife. The blood splashed and squirted with abandoned and with his last slice of the blade the goats ceased to protest. When he looked down at his handy work they were no longer goats. He stood upon a pile of human bodies, the very top one being the pale body of Johnny Needles…”

Welcome to my blog!
Don’t you hate how far some haunted attractions can be? What if I told you that there are places near you where you can see spooky places?
I’m Lauren Kubiak and I have decided to search the hidden treasures of spine-chilling buildings and sites in my own area. I love going to scary places and this is the perfect time for me to go exploring and write about it!
In the upcoming weeks I plan on going to sites such as Fort Delaware in Delaware City, The Barnsboro Inn in my town and many more. I would like to find the history of each place and why it is considered “haunted.”
I will be conducting interviews with not only the owner or person(s) in charge but with people who have been there and are convinced of a haunting. I’d like to get my hands on as much information that I can for each site so I can develop a compelling story.
Some stories I plan to write include a Q&A, video interviews, audio interviews and photographs.
Photographing the location is very important and capturing proof of a spirit would be the greatest accomplishment.
I am currently planning the upcoming months and have a few concrete dates. I will be visiting Fort Delaware October 8 for a Paranormal Adventure. Please check back on my page for the upcoming events.
Sit back, relax and get spooked!
